Automated QuickBooks

Main Goals: Be able to generate granular financial reports in Quickbooks without manual data entry.

How we achieved those goals:

Setup custom automation from Airtable to Quickbooks Online that automates the entry of sales and expenses into Quickbooks.

This automation was an add-on to an Airtable setup Skive built for this company to manage all their client projects and information.

When the staff mark a project as paid in Airtable

The automation automatically creates all relevant sales and expenses in quickbooks. If there is missing information, the staff member is prompted to enter the missing information.

The result is that this company’s bookkeeper can create granular reports which will help the business identify the profit and loss of each specific service they offer. They can then hone in on which areas of their business to focus on.
