How all-inclusive software enables Imperial to focus on its next stage of growth

The Challenge

Imperial Real Estate is a full-service Real Estate Brokerage firm located in Lakewood, New Jersey. Their New Construction department works on many projects at a time. Each project spans a number of years and has many stages and details. Before hiring Skive, much of the work was passing through one talented key employee who was aware of all project details. This was problematic, because:

  • Team collaboration was difficult, as only one key employee had all the information needed to complete the tasks.
  • The management didn’t have a clear and easily accessible way to view each project’s status at all times. They weren’t aware of projects that fell behind and couldn’t lead the company effectively.
  • Stakeholders had a hard time getting project updates since there was no central source of information.
  • The company was stagnant — they were heavily reliant on this one employee and could not scale.

The Solution

We set up software that has a task and timeline template for every project type, divided into stages. Each project kicks off with the simple click of a button to populate the template for that project type.

The template includes all related tasks and details and auto-assigns them to the correct employee who updates the system as the tasks are completed.

The Results

One centralized system contains all the tasks, details, and updates for each project. The management and employees can access the information they need instantly, and pass that information over to stakeholders when applicable. The team can divide and conquer their work and the company can focus on its next stage of growth.
